Kabando wa Kabando, the former Mukurweini MP, has defended Saitabao Ole Kanchory, the chief agent for Azimio’s 2022, against critics following the publication of his book, “Why Baba is Not The 5th.”
Kabando criticized some members of Azimio for attacking Kanchory and stated that it was time to counter the issues raised in the book and let the writer be.
The book details why Raila Odinga lost the presidency for the fifth time, including issues with the Azimio command center, disorganized campaigning, and a false belief in the deep state.
Kanchory also describes power struggles and infighting among top campaign managers and former government officials disinterested in campaigning for Raila.
Kabando encouraged nonviolent opposition to President William Ruto’s government and stated that people’s power can win.
