Leading attorney Steve Ogolla has revealed that Wafula Chebukati, the chairwoman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, formally published Form 34C on their public webpage on Wednesday.
Agents for the four presidential candidates have signed the paper that serves as the official declaration of the recently finished presidential elections, confirming their agreement with the results from the 46,299 polling places dispersed among the 290 constituencies.
It has been signed by Yagnik Ramji, who is speaking on behalf of the opposing presidential candidate, and Kithure Kindiki, a close ally of departing Tharaka Nithi County Senator William Ruto.
“The IEBC has released Form 34C, which compiles the results from the 46,299 polling places spread across the 290 seats. Please review Form 34C for information before filing any discrepancy claims. Kithure Kindiki, Yagnik Ramji, and Paul Mwangi have all signed the document.” Steve Ogolla is a lawyer. This comes as Raila Odinga has already stated that they will go to court to have the results thrown out after they are announced.
