HomePolitics"They've Panicked," says Ruto after being denied access to Kakamega's Bukhungu Stadium.

“They’ve Panicked,” says Ruto after being denied access to Kakamega’s Bukhungu Stadium.

After being informed that he would not be granted access to Bukhungu Stadium for his planned rally to drum up support for his Presidency in the county ahead of next month’s elections, Deputy President William Ruto held a mega rally in Kakamega town today, July 31st.

DP Ruto, who was on a tour of Western Kenya, drew a large crowd for his rally in Kakamega town, and he couldn’t leave without addressing the issue of being denied access to the stadium.

Speaking from the top of his ride to Kakamega residents, the DP stated, “Indeed, I’ve accepted that you people of Kakamega County are great people.” I really want to thank you.

These people shut down the Stadium on us, but in eight days, they’ll realize they know nothing. “Wananchi wameshona, hawajashona?”

He went on to say “I’d like to inform the people who shut down this stadium that on the day that a monkey must die, all trees become slick.

Even if they had closed the stadium, this would have happened, and as you can see, it did.”

“I want to tell you people of Kakamega that if you see such things and games happening, know that someone has already panicked,” the DP said to them.
