Raila Odinga declared during the 2017 general election that he had only one bullet left in his side after attempting to be Kenya’s president several times. In 2017, Odinga’s NASA coalition included Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, who are now members of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
Ruto today accused Odinga of playing deceptive politics after betraying members of his team. Ruto told the crowd in Garissa that Odinga had previously promised his allies that he would not run in the 2022 general election but would support one of them instead.
“Someone says he has one bullet and then returns without saying when or where he got more bullets.” How sure are you that he will not dupe you into voting for him only to turn against you if he can dupe his fellow leaders?” The DP made a pose.
Ruto also asked Odinga to stop misleading the public by claiming that he would deal with ignorance in Kenya when the country’s people are wise and in need of resources to run their small and micro businesses.
