Ruto promised the residents during his speech that he would return to continue his campaigns in the region. The Amani National Congress party leader Hon Musalia Mudavadi was among the leaders who accompanied him to Kirinyaga County. Among the other leaders are Speaker Justin Muturi, Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua, Hon Amason Kingi, and Governor Anne Waiguru.
