Dp Ruto humbly asked Kenyans and his boss, Uhuru Kenyatta, to forgive him today.
Speaking at the Safari Park Hotel, where he was one of the prime ministers attending the National Annual Prayer Breakfast, the second in command admitted that he had fallen short at times and asked for forgiveness.
Ruto made the crowd happy with this statement, especially after admitting to doing something unexpected to his boss and publicly seeking forgiveness.
It was a nice speech from the DP because it was the first time he asked for forgiveness from Uhuru Kenyatta after a long period of enmity and hatred between them.
In response to Ruto’s speech Uhuru appears moved by Ruto’s words, and the president cannot help but bow his head respectfully.
The crowd, including Uhuru Kenyatta, appeared to accept the DP’s request by clapping hands after what he said. Kenyans are expected to react strongly to this situation, as no one expected Ruto to publicly seek forgiveness from his boss.
