Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has bravely revealed what Raila Odinga told him just before leaving Azimio to run for president.
During his statement this afternoon, Kalonzo stated that Raila met with him yesterday after he returned from Mombasa County and tried to persuade him to support his choice of a running mate.
Raila told Kalonzo that he had chosen Martha Karua, but they agreed to sleep on the deal after he refused to agree with him. He went on to say that he told Raila that he will name his running mate today.
“My brother Raila knows I’m naming my running mate; in fact, he came home from Mombasa to try to persuade us to accept his choice of our sister Martha Karua.” We couldn’t agree, so I suggested we sleep on it. We did. We agreed that he would name Martha, and that I would name my running mate today. So disregard the interviews and whatnot; the main issue was Raila and me, as well as my brother President Uhuru, and Gideon Moi
