The speaker has emphasized how Ruto was a good man in 2013, when they were in power for the first time. He was quick to point out that associating with him was beneficial until they returned to office for a second term. Muturi was quick to point out that his refusal to join the Azimio la Umoja faction has led to him being labeled as a bad person, which is untrue because it is dependent on his new political adversaries.
