Stephen Mule, a close associate of Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Matungulu member of parliament, has stated that the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) parties will sign a coalition agreement on Monday and affirm their willingness to work with Azimio La Umoja.
Mule described the Azimio-One Kenya coalition as the “mother of all coalitions” after attending a church service at Kinyui Catholic Church in Machakos County on Sunday, adding talks were underway before the presidential candidate and running mate were announced.
“We in OKA, in intend of starting negotiations with Jubilee coalition and ODM, are in advanced stage and we will be unveiling the OKA presidential candidate, on Monday, who will proceed to the next level of the Azimio grand coalition.
Following that, delegates will convene to select a candidate for the coalition and a running mate. The stage that OKA will take, and which has already occurred, is the formation of the 2022 government. “Those who believed we were joking have been correctly guided,” Mule remarked.
The Azimio coalition will present its new style on the same day, including the logo, colors, and tagline.
President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is important in the development of the Azimio coalition, said to ODM delegates on Saturday at Kasarani that the alliance’s official debut will take place in two weeks.
