Frustrated Wiper Party Leader Hon Kalonzo Musyoka has now recounted how he was barred from having a political rally a few days earlier by ODM Party Leaders, including Raila Odinga, but still managed to draw a large crowd when he visited the coastal region over the weekend.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, the One Kenya Alliance expressed his frustration with ODM Leader Hon Raila Odinga, saying he couldn’t picture how their relationship would be if he joined the Azimio la Umoja camp.
“They tried to frustrate our meeting by denying us entry to Tononoka and Makadara grounds, but we are here today and you people have come out in large numbers,” Kalonzo said.
Regarding his calculated 2022 game plan, the OKA leader has once again stated unequivocally that he is unwilling to engage with Raila’s Azimio la Umoja without a formal agreement as equal partners. According to reliable reports, Makueni Senator Hon Mutula Kilonzo, Daan Maanzo, and Robert Mbui are now pressuring their boss to go all the way.
“There is no need to rush a coalition pact with Azimio. We want them to join us. We must have an honest discussion. If I meet Raila, I will ask him to support my presidential bid this time round after backing him twice,” Kalonzo said.
