Kalonzo Musyoka opened up about holding talks with Orange Democratic Movement party head and Azimio la Umoja Movement leader Raila Odinga on how they would establish a massive Alliance on the same agenda and after signing an agreement between the latter.
Kalonzo’s proposal comes just a few weeks after the co-principals of the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) announced an open engagement with like-minded parties ahead of the 2022 General Election.
With only 6 months until the August General Elections, it appears that a schism is forming between Raila and Kalonzo as they try to rebuild their relationship after some members allied to the Wiper party threw shade at key players in ODM for bad mouthing Kalonzo’s name in an attempt to gain votes from the Eastern parts of Kenya.
According to Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo, Raila Odinga should refrain from attempting to persuade Kalonzo Musyoka to join his Azimio and instead seek legitimacy from the Eastern community himself.
