Kamene Goro, a former radio presenter, made waves online on Thursday when it was revealed that she had tied the knot with DJ Bonez in a low-key ceremony attended by only a few close friends and family, including Kamene’s former radio co-hosts Obinna and Jalang’o.
Despite receiving numerous congratulatory messages, some Kenyans were left wondering who this man is that managed to sweep Kamene off her feet. DJ Bonez, also known as “The Pyper,” is a six-foot-tall DJ whose real name is David Kamau.
He has been pursuing his craft for over a decade and is a highly sought-after DJ who has performed at many of Kenya’s top events.
He is also a co-director of Spincycle Entertainment Limited, a DJ and events company he co-founded with DJ Kaytrixx and DJ Hypnotiq, both of whom were in attendance at his wedding.
According to the company’s website, the staff at Spincycle Entertainment reflects the directors’ values and practices of commitment, caring, enthusiasm, and joyfully delivered services.
DJ Bonez clarified during a past interview with a local radio station that he has never been married before and that he has children outside of his relationship with Kamene.
The couple reportedly began dating in 2021, and DJ Bonez proposed to Kamene during a weekend trip to Diani in September of last year, which she accepted.
