At a public Baraza held by the Azimio la Umoja Coalition at Kamukunji grounds, Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua cautioned police officers against carrying out illegal orders during protests.
She urged them to stop being used to harm their fellow Kenyans and said that protests are constitutional and do not require President William Ruto’s permission.
Karua further alleged that police had orders to kill Azimio leaders during anti-government protests and called for peaceful protests to reduce the cost of living until every Kenyan gets food on the table, Unga prices are down to Ksh. 100, and school fees are reduced.
She also accused the government of misappropriation of funds and pushed for the opening of IEBC Servers for finalizing vote tallying in counties.
