Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, has expressed his ambition to run for the presidency in the future.
He aims to make history as the first president from the Luo region if Raila Odinga fails to clinch the seat in the 2027 election.
Speaking on Behind the Mic with Cynthia Mwangi, Jalang’o stated that he is praying for life to see his dreams come to fruition. He emphasized his desire to change people’s lives and is open to exploring different electoral positions before running for the presidency.
Jalang’o also addressed the standoff between him and Raila over his alleged allegiance to President William Ruto, stating that he is willing to be criticized and labeled names as long as he delivers his promises to Lang’ata constituents.
He affirmed his loyalty to Raila, stating that it cannot be disputed, but that would not prevent him from working with the government to deliver to his constituent.
