The IEBC has been criticized by the former governor of Nairobi, who is also running for governor of Homabay. Kidero requests the results of the Homabay governorship election, in which Gladys Wanga was declared victorious.
Kidero has vowed to challenge the Homabay results and use every legal strategy at his disposal in order to have Gladys Wanga’s victory declared invalid in court. He is well aware that the election was rigged because he was duly elected governor.
Kidero went on to fight the verdicts in court after making it clear that the only thing he wants from the Supreme Court is the outcomes. Evans Kidero is undoubtedly one of the leaders who has consistently refused to accept defeat.
It’s worth noting that Gladys Wanga, the governor of Homabay County, has already taken the oath of office and is just getting started. Whether or not the IEBC releases the findings, Kidero can only obtain the information he requires from the county’s returning officer.
