Ballot stuffing is an electoral fraud in which the total number of votes cast in a specific position, say the Presidential seat, does not match the total number of votes cast in other levels of government such as Parliamentary, Governor, and Member of County Assembly in a general election.
In this case, it is usually assumed (which is impossible) that a group of people can enter a specific polling station, be given 6 ballot papers, and choose to mark only one position, causing the remaining 5 ballot papers to be called strayed votes, which hasn’t been mentioned in our current scenario as far as the IEBC is concerned.
According to the Star newspaper, Raila, who has promised to give Ruto and the IEBC a run for their money, is now demanding an explanation as to how nearly 1 million residents from various parts of Mount Kenya entered their respective polling stations and decided to vote only for the Presidential position.
Raila will also demand that 1 million stray ballot boxes be produced and that the actual data of total votes cast via KIEMS kits and Manual Register be displayed in Azimio’s Smoking Gun (collected evidence).
If the IEBC fails to determine whether the unusual votes in the Mt Kenya region were counted, June Mohamed’s claims that pre-marked ballot papers were smuggled into the country will be confirmed.
