The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party has filed a petition at the Milimani Courts asking the Supreme Court of Kenya to overturn the presidential results announced by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairperson Wafula Chebukati.
The Azimio side is led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga and other IEBC commissioners who believe the proper procedure was not followed when Returning Officers tallied votes across the country.

Both political factions had their lawyers ready to hear what they wanted the SCoK judges to hear and make final decisions that would benefit them in return.
