“Public interest does not drive politicians to form coalitions,” says Hesbon Owilla.

The recent mass movement of Independent members of parliament to the Kenya Kwanza coalition has sparked a new political debate. The recent defection from the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition has left political commentators with a massive task of ensuring that they understand all of the movement’s lessons.

Hesbon Owilla has revealed that politicians leaving their political formations are dangerous because they are not motivated by a manifesto. He emphasized that this is a failure as a leader and that such people should be avoided in the country’s political arena.

He went on to say that such conditions should make everyone sad because the reason for the decampment is very personal and not public. He has urged Kenyans to research politicians’ leadership abilities before voting them into office. Please share your thoughts in the section below.
