According to Laywer Ndengwa Njiru, a member of the Azimio legal team, the 2022 presidential election was marred by irregularities. He went on to say that the Azimio team has enough evidence of massive vote rigging in the presidential election and that they will prove that President-elect William Samoei Ruto did not legally win the presidency.
The Laywer stated that he is one of the lawyers on the Azimio team and that the IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati should be arrested and charged by the DCI for the presidential candidate’s irregularities.
He claims that Wafula Chebukati, the chairperson of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, did not carry out his duties in accordance with the Kenyan constitution. He claimed that the IEBC chairperson supported vote rigging and that the presidential results were biased in favor of President-elect William Ruto.
Lawyer Njiru says they will show the court that there was massive vote rigging in favor of William Ruto, which was supported by IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati.
