After the 2022 general elections were held yesterday, the tallying of votes is still ongoing as Kenyans eagerly await the winners who will rule Kenya for the next five years. Ann Waiguru was defending his kirinyaga gubernatorial seat against Wangui Ngirici, making the race extremely competitive.
Waiguru recently posted on her official Facebook page, expressing her outrage over vote rigging in Kirinyaga. She posted photos of ballot boxes, claiming that the rigging is taking place in broad daylight. She went on to say that the two ballot boxes containing the governor’s ballots had entered Kirinyaga through the back door. She ordered that the boxes be removed and that the tallying of IEBC and her party’s leader, William Samoei Ruto, be halted. What are your thoughts on this?
