Raila Odinga and Martha Karua were prayed for ahead of Tuesday’s general election.
Raila Odinga, Martha Karua, and Ida Odinga were seen publicly attending a church service at the KICC church in Nairobi.
He was joined by his running partner Martha Karua and his wife Ida Odinga.
Raila Odinga, the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), first ran for president in 1997 as a member of the National Development Party (NDP), and then again in 2007, 2013, and 2017. (ODM). He ran on an ODM ticket in 2013 and 2017 under the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) and National Super Alliance (Nasa) coalitions, respectively.
With chants of inawezekana from the now-popular Lero ni Lero campaign song, jubilant supporters escorted the two leaders.
Raila exuded confidence that he would win the election, even as he attacked Deputy President William Ruto for alleging a rigging plot.
