Senator Kipchumba Murkomen of Elgeyo Marakwet County retaliated against President Uhuru Kenyatta after a three-person team was apprehended at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Despite IEBC CEO’s efforts to explain the goal to security officials.
The three are allegedly Smartmatic International employees in charge of establishing and maintaining electronic voting infrastructure.
Hon. Murkomen accused the Azimio chairman of doing everything in his power to ensure their candidate won the August presidential elections in his statement.
“Uhuru Kenyatta is making every effort to rig the presidential election in his favor or, at the very least, to postpone the election and extend his term. He is the greatest existential threat to the nation’s stability, justice, and peace. He has gone into panic mode after realizing that his project will not be successful.” According to Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.
