Famous Tanzanian preacher Daniel Mgogo has revealed that prostitution has found its way in the church.
In his Friday’s teaching, the entertaining and educative preacher based in Mbeya has urged believers to shun their dirty ways of living and take the bad morals out of church.
He cursed hypocrisy and cheating in marriages which have taken comfort in today’s churches
“Wako watu tunao makanisani lakini umalaya unavyowatesa! Na wengine wako hapa wananiangalia. Anajua tu mchungaji unavyosema malaya ni mimi kwa sababu kodi ya mwezi huu imelipwa na mume wa mtu. Kusema haya, Mume wa mtu huyo yumo humu. Ata hivi ninavyohubiri wanaangalia kwa mbali, kwamba sasa sijui itakuwaje. Wanasema kwamba sasa mchungaji unaniharibia dili.”
This can be roughly translated into;
“There are people we have them in church but the way prostitution is tormenting them! They know when the preacher is saying a prostitute it’s me because this month’s house rent was paid by someone’s husband. Saying this, that someone’s husband is here, they are starring at each other from a distance, saying so how shall it be, preacher you’re spoiling my deal.”
Daniel Mgogo uses real life experience to pass his message to the congregation in churches and seminars.
