Professor Herman Manyora has now concluded that Deputy President William Ruto’s goose appears to be cooked in the Western region, and that his recent remarks will be his undoing in the region.
Manyora says on his YouTube channel that the Deputy President’s campaign has been marred by gaffes, but his veiled dig at Eugene Wamalwa was the final nail.
According to the political analyst, the Luhya nation is now dissatisfied with the second in command, which may cause him to lose the few votes he had hoped to gain in the region.
Manyora believes that, while Ruto’s fate was sealed nationally, his careless statement in which he referred to Wamalwa as a woman sealed his fate in the Western region.
He compared Ruto’s sentiments to what William Kabogo once told Kiambu voters, who ended up rejecting the Tujibebe party leader in favor of Ferdinand Waititu, and predicted that Ruto would suffer a similar fate.
