Martha Karua has received a lot of praise since she was chosen as Raila Odinga’s running mate, but she was badly exposed today when David Makali told Kenyans about her influence just before Baba named her as his running mate.
David Makali told TV47 Kenya that Martha Karua was a weak candidate ahead of the much-anticipated August election because she was ranked third in the Kirinyaga gubernatorial race behind Wangui Ngirici and Anne Waiguru. As a result, Makali believes that Karua’s fortunes changed only because Raila chose her to deputize him; otherwise, she could be finished.
