Manyora explains why Ruto should be concerned about this presidential candidate rather than Raila.

It has never happened in Kenya that a distant presidential candidate has piqued Kenyans’ interest as much as he does now.

This was said by Professor Herman Manyora in response to Professor Wajackoya’s admission to the presidential race and his political style.

Manyora noted on Saturday that professor Wajackoya’s initiative to legalize marijuana had sparked a lot of interest among the youth via his YouTube channel.

Manyora, on the other hand, expressed concern that substance abuse has become a significant problem among Kenyan adolescents, particularly in coastal areas.

When asked about Wajackoya’s true impact on the upcoming general election, Manyora admitted that it would be felt, but not significantly.

He did, however, warn Deputy President William Ruto about the Wajackoya Effect, claiming that the majority of voters swayed by the professor are young people.

Manyora is confident that Wajackoya will sweep away many of the teenagers who are currently supporting the deputy president.

He went on to say that this is not the case with Raila Odinga, who has the support of the elderly.

Do you agree with the professor’s viewpoint? Please feel free to contribute your thoughts and ideas to our discussion forum.
