Following the untimely death of his wife, Kajiado Central Member of Parliament Elijah Memusi’s family is in mourning. Muthuri Mwongera, the Kajiado County Commander, confirmed the death.
Stellah Memusi was killed in a car accident in Isinya, Kajiado East.
Stella had returned home after dropping her children off at school at the end of the mid-term break.
On Monday, May 31, a stationary lorry on the road collided with a private car traveling from Nairobi.
The driver of the unfortunate vehicle received minor injuries but was treated and released.
Stellah died on the spot, according to reports.
Stellah’s body was transferred to the mortuary at Kajiado Referral Hospital.
This comes just a day after Rabai MP Willam Kamothi was killed in a car accident after presenting nomination papers at the IEBC.
Kenyans and prominent politicians have expressed their condolences to the family.
