According to a post shared on social media, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was accompanied by several leaders who also attended a burial ceremony. Mombasa governor Hassan Joho led the delegation that accompanied him. Among the other leaders are Suna East member of parliament Hon Junet Muhammed, Homa Bay member of parliament Hon Gladys Wanga, former presidential candidate Peter Kenneth, and Kakamega Governor Hon Wycliffe Oparanya.
