Raila Odinga, presidential candidate of the Azimio la Umoja Movement-One Kenya Alliance coalition, has expressed confidence in winning this year’s general elections by a landslide over Deputy President Dr William Ruto, claiming he will defeat the UDA leader with 65 percent to 70 percent because almost all regions in the country are fully locked behind the Azimio la Umoja Movement-One Kenya Alliance coalition.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Sirisia, Bungoma County, Odinga urged Western region people to support Azimio and his presidential bid like his Nyanza bedrock because he is going to win this year’s polls, and now the entire country is behind him, including Mount Kenya after Karua’s selection as his running mate. As a result, Ruto has no place to go to get votes to defeat him in the August 9 elections.
“We are going to win this election, as evidenced by the trembling of our opponents. They are perplexed by completely, which is why I want you Westerners to support Azimio as wholeheartedly as Nyanza does.
