Martha Karua is leading the Azimio team today in a meeting with another group of activists and human rights organizations ahead of the August elections. The meeting sought, among other things, a working formula that would see them support Raila Odinga ahead of the elections.
Wanjiru Gikonyo, speaking at a meeting currently taking place in one of Kenya’s leading hotels, stated that they will sign an agreement ensuring that the team supports Raila and, in turn, that the rights of Kenyans and other vulnerable groups are well protected.
This means that the Azimio team is expected to sign the deal, which will ensure that they support the Azimio team. Martha Karua, on the other hand, has expressed confidence that everything will be fine once Raila assumes leadership of the nation.
