Honourable Anne Waiguru, Governor of Kirinyaga County, has stated that she will file a complaint with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) through her lawyers after her campaign materials were destroyed.
She stated that this violated section 13(L) of the Elections Offenses Act and that she will seek to prevent her opponent from running for office.
She also produced the license plate of the vehicle she claimed was being used to transport people who were destroying the material’s integrity.
