The schism between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto is growing, as is the schism between Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i and Deputy President William Ruto.
Despite the fact that DP Ruto’s allies claim that Matiang’i is being used by the government to harass DP Ruto’s allies, Matiang’i has been targeting DP Ruto whenever he has the opportunity. Matiang’i has attacked DP Ruto whenever he has the opportunity.
According to a source, during a Cabinet meeting yesterday, Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i confronted DP Ruto, saying that while the government was doing everything possible, there were others who were criticizing the government from within. Matiang’i is said to have made this statement in response to DP Ruto’s claim that the government has critics.
According to reports, Joe Mucheru and Keriako Tobiko agreed with Fred Matiang’i and his counterparts’ claims.
The DP reportedly told Matiang’i and the rest of the Cabinet that the current economic situation was clearly out of control.
“If you live in Kenya, you cannot deny that the economy is faltering, the cost of living is rising, and people are suffering,” Deputy President William Ruto reportedly told Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi and the rest of the cabinet.
