As the country prepares for the general election, top political figures face a decision that will either make or break their chances of succeeding President Kenyatta, whose term is coming to an end. Dp Ruto has yet to name his preferred Dp candidate, as has Raila.
In the Raila Odinga election interview, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka changed his mind in front of the Azimio advisory team.
“The Honorable Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka SC, says that he has decided to honor the invitation to run for the Azimio One Kenya competition instead of a partner who will be managed by a team of outstanding people,” Kalonzo wrote in his letter.
It has now been revealed that President Kenyatta secretly called Kalonzo Musyoka and convinced him to change his mind about attending interviews. The President wishes to avoid a humiliating defeat in this year’s august general, which is why he is intervening to save a sinking ship.
Kalonzo had previously stated that he would not negotiate with her in her bid to become Raila’s deputy in the national elections on August 9. Azimio, on the other hand, will reveal their Deputy tomorrow.
