Silvanus Osoro, a Kisii politician, inadvertently revealed the running mate for Kenya’s deputy president, Dr. William Ruto. During the rally and Kisii, Osoro revealed that the United Democratic Alliance UDA party does not need to conduct an interview to determine who should be the running mate. He almost pointed a finger at Rigathi Gachagua, but he later returned his arms and apologized. He stated that UDA already has a running mate.
He incorrectly identified Deputy President William Ruto’s running mate as Rigathi Gachagua. Osoro, who later urged Kisii residents to vote for DP Ruto in the upcoming election, also stated that the UDA has meticulously planned the running mate position and that their primary focus is on the development of the nation. He allegedly turned and stared at Rigathi Gachagua when he stated that the running mate position had already been secured.
