Alfred Kiptoo Keter has come out to call out the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) for not being brave enough to deny him the Nandi hills Member of Parliament ticket from the date he announced his candidature to fly the flag come 9th August, 2022, saying that the plot to deny him his nomination certificate was a plan terming the delay of the nomination case, that it was being postponed to make him miss out on the independent ticket to joining the race eventually.
Keter who has said that he has forgiven those that were concerned in denying him his certificate, has asked the UDA leadership to consider him as he is someone’s child, spouse, father and sibling and also bleeds like any other. He has added that the challenges he is going through have made him strong to have another chance to fight for his political career that bears him protecting the CDF office and the interest and all those that he educates and supports in the society.
Though he supports the Deputy President William Ruto`s ambition to become the fifth president of Kenya, Keter has urged the voters to vote the leaders that would help them and not the leaders that would please someone else, he says the constituency will regret if they do not vote him back as he has been very diligent in his work. He believes he is being fought by all means due to his truth concerning what goes wrong, saying that were it not for him farmers would not have maize in Uasin Gishu County, the tea growers in Kipsigis would not have machines due to the new suggestion to outdate them.
Keter has shared that UDA leaders have denied that there were any nominations, yet he anticipated in one, and that they called for an interview with his opponents and he was never informed he just came to learn that his competitor was given a ticket.
