The president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta has come under sharp scrutiny after he chose to openly blame his Deputy William Somoei Arap Ruto for not being supportive, in government and giving him guidance on how to go by issues to do with the current fluctuation and economic instability being witnessed by Kenyans, saying he was not there when he needed him the most.
According to Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi, if Uhuru has not solved Kenyans problem with all the time he had, how would he solve their issues within the remaining 100 days, urging him to take it easy and wait for his term to lapse peacefully.
Musalia went on to add that the utterances by the President during a much awaited Labor day was more frustrating to Kenyans as he only gave them his frustrations concerning his Deputy president, asking him to let the Nation know when he last had his cabinet meeting with an agenda to discuss arising matters in Kenya`s economic situation.
Citing the previous week when the country was preparing to send off the late third president of Kenya, Mwai Kibaki, Musalia said that it was clear who Kenyans favored as per their reactions whenever the Deputy president was called to address the nation and the mourners.
Musalia has indicated that Kenyans are facing a hard economic season that has led to food prices rocketing, causing even food vendors to leave their businesses over the cooking oil prices all this being escalated by the rise in debt Kenya has acrued, increase in unemployment, and increase in number of children in need of education, Kenyans in desperate move for affordable medical services and the desperate farmers who have no money to keep up with their farming activities.
The ANC leader called on Kenyans to turn up in large numbers in order to afford Kenya Kwanza a decisive win, in the hope that IEBC will not be corrupted in order to have a one round election.
Musalia has urged Kenyans to avoid bloodshed and no one should die because of politics .
