Hellen, Migori Governor Obado’s wife, addressed the press in a phone call on Friday, stating unequivocally that she is interested in Migori’s Women Representative seat. Hellen claims she has begun the process of being cleared by the electoral body but has yet to choose a political symbol for the ballot. Despite the fact that she has yet to officially launch her campaigns, she has been collaborating closely with her husband, governor Okoth Obado, in his bid for the governorship seat in Migori.
