The Form One reporting date has been moved from May 3 to May 4, 2022. In a memo issued on Wednesday, Basic Education Permanent Secretary Julius Jwan stated that this is due to the fact that Tuesday, May 3 has been declared a holiday.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i declared May 3 a public outing to commemorate Eid al Fitr in a periodic statement on Tuesday. Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting, comes to an end with Eid al-Fitr.
“Subsequently, it’s been resolved that the announcing date for Form One understudies may be from fourth May, 2022,” Jwan expressed.

Over 1.2 million newcomers are expected to enroll in auxiliary universities after passing their 2021 KCPE exams in early March.
CS Education George Magoha stated that all newcomers who took the test will have consistent Form One areas in relation to the government’s 100 in accordance with penny progress. Approximately 38,797 KCPE candidates may be accepted into countrywide schools, 214,960 into more notable district universities, and 258,456 into province universities.
