Four Strong Leaders Vying For Nairobi Gubernatorial Seat Azimio La Umoja Will Settle For

As the 2022 general election approaches, both the Azimio la Umoja and Kenya kwanza coalitions are working hard to have more strong leaders who can persuade their people to vote for their preferred president. They will have to choose one of the following leaders to represent them in the Nairobi governor seat in Azimio la Umoja.

  1. Richard Ngatia- Richard Ngatia, the head of the Kenyan Chamber of Commerce, is running an aggressive diplomatic campaign to become the governor of Nairobi.
  1. Timothy Wanyonyi Wetangula- Timothy Wanyonyi Wetangula is a Kenyan lawyer and politician who was elected to represent the Westlands Constituency in the 2013 election and is the leading candidate for Nairobi Governor 2022. He is a supporter of the Orange Democratic Movement as well as the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy.
  1. Polycarp Igathe- Former Equity Chief Commercial Officer Polycarp Igathe is said to be the ruling Jubilee party’s choice for the Nairobi governorship.
  1. Ann Kananu- Ann Kananu Mwenda is a Kenyan criminologist, politician, and public administrator who will take over as Governor of Nairobi County on November 16, 2021.
