What Was Discovered in the Body of a Woman Who Collapsed and Died After Learning of Her Daughter’s Death?

A family in Mwichina village in Khwisero, Kakamega County, suffered a double tragedy when two of their relatives died mysteriously.

Rael Aketch had traveled to Saudi Arabia in search of work, but she was found dead in the house where she was working as a housekeeper.

When her mother, Joyce Felesia Shitawa, learned of her daughter’s death, she collapsed and was taken to Kakamega County Referral Hospital, from which she was referred to Kisumu’s Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Referral Hospital.
