Honorable Ledama Olekina, a prominent Orange Democratic Movement politician, has urged the IEBC to adhere to the law when appointing new members.
Taking to Twitter to express his fears and concerns about the upcoming General Elections, which are set to take place in a few months, the renowned politician claimed that the IEBC could become a major issue for Kenyans.
According to him, he accused the IEBC of not following the proper protocol for electing its officials, and as a result, he urged top iEBC officials to ensure that they do so in accordance with the law.
This is occurring at the same time that former Kenyan Prime Minister and Orange Democratic Movement party leader, honorable Raila Odinga, has urged Kenya’s Deputy President, honorable William Ruto, to resign if he loses the upcoming General Elections.
In response to the upcoming General Elections, Kenya’s former Prime Minister stated that if he loses, he will return home. Similarly, he urged Kenya’s deputy president, honorable William Ruto, not to cause chaos if he loses, and instead to do the same.
Responding to this, Kenya’s deputy president called out Kenya’s former prime minister for saying this, adding that if he loses, he will return home because he wants Kenya to remain peaceful.
