Ngilu last minute rush with title deeds

More than 1850 title deeds have been issued after 50 years of suffering subjected to Nzalae residents in Kitui County.

In the bid to retain her position in the coming general election, Charity Ngilu, who is the governor of Kitui has finally settled the residents after the survey process that started last year was concluded with the issuing of the deeds.

Ngilu, has said that leaders should not ask for votes if they do not practically have something to offer the voters, and that voters should only vote in leaders who are genuine and practical, saying that the benefits of having title deeds are beneficial to the government because it empowers people to take educational and development loans through banks, especially to the salaried.

While issuing the title deeds she praised Uhuru Kenyatta`s government for keeping its words. The residents have lived in Nzalae without title deeds since 1975.

Charity Ngilu is campaigning to retain her position under the Azimio la Umoja Alliance.
