When Gatundu South legislator speaks in front of a crowd, he is known for making controversial statements. However, he usually moves in sync with the mood of the crowd, and he occasionally finds himself on the wrong side unknowingly. The Kenya Kwanza Alliance launched their campaign in Kiambu County earlier today, right on the doorstep of Moses Kuria.
Following a successful church service, they all converged on a nearby shopping center, where large crowds had gathered to listen to them. Shouting, wailing, and clapping dominated when Moses was mentioned. Moses Kuria started by telling the state not to sell fear to them during the campaign season. This could be a direct response to the NCIC commission, which recently blacklisted words used by the alliance several times.
Later, the Gatundu South MP reminded constituents that election day is approaching and that everyone should prepare with a voter ID in order to vote in William Ruto as the next President of Kenya.
He later vowed that he would never forgive Uhuru Kenyatta for bringing Raila Odinga to central Kenya. Kuria claims that they have forgiven Uhuru for criminalizing hustlers such as mama mboga and bodaboda riders, but they have not forgiven Uhuru for campaigning for Azimio la umoja flag bearer Raila Odinga.
