Didmus Barasa, a Kimilili member of Parliament, made people laugh when he said that Azimio la Umoja’s flag bearer is not a presidential candidate, but rather a presidential aspirant. He stated that the ODM leader will be recognized as a presidential candidate until the kaw mandates otherwise.
On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, the lawmaker closely associated with Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza reacted to Raila’s Chopper stoning in Uasin Gishu while touring the county during the funeral of a well-known politician and businessman in the rift region.
Didymus went on to say that the people who stoned the former prime minister’s chopper could have been drunk, and that the location where the chopper was parked might not have been safe. Didymus went on to say that other politicians have been attacked, but their attacks have never caused such a stir as the recent one has.
However, as the August elections approach, Kenyans should maintain peace and allow any politician to speak at any political gathering without causing a commotion that could result in deaths.
