What Charity Ngilu Told Kalonzo Musyoka About Raila’s Relationship

Kitui county governor Charity Ngilu has sent an encouraging message to her fellow political figure in Ukambani region, Wiper Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka owing to his involvement in Azimio La Umoja campaign rallies.

Governor Ngilu, one of the Ukambani political giants has always been on side of Raila Odinga. She has enthusiastically accompanied Kenya‘s former prime minister in most of his campaigns.

Governor Charity Ngilu’s joy could not be hidden as she revealed her hopes and expectations as a result of her good relationship with her fellow politician (Kalonzo Musyoka), which is improving day by day.

In reference to yesterday’s Azimio La Umoja campaigns in West Pokot, Kitui Governor was impressed by the improved relationship developed between Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and handshake Uhuru’s brother Hon Raila Amolo Odinga.

Charity Ngilu has congratulated Kalonzo Musyoka for stamping Raila Odinga as Kenya’s fifth president, citing the benefits the Ukambani region would reap if Raila Amolo Odinga is elected as the country’s chief commander in the armed forces during the August 9 general elections.

Kitui governor, who is also a long-time supporter of Kenya’s former president, Raila Odinga, revealed on Twitter that their collaboration with Raila is for the benefit of her region. “Ukambani wins when we work together.”

According to Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu, some of the benefits that the Ukambani region will reap if Raila wins the presidential election are representation in government, resources, opportunities, and shared prosperity, which translates to a developed region.

Governor Ngilu’s attitude toward her region is admirable, owing to the fact that her primary focus is not only the government’s personal interests, but also regional gain.

Are your regional politicians concerned with community or regional interests, or are they only concerned with their own personal interests?
