The honorable Suleiman Shahbal, an ally of ODM party leader Raila Odinga, has brought Kisauni, Mombasa county, to a halt. Suleiman is vying for the governorship of Mombasa County.
In a video uploaded to a writer’s YouTube channel. Kisauni is said to have turned orange. Residents can be seen dressed in ODM party colors. They came out in large numbers to hear Suleiman. Singing and celebrating their leader’s presence. As Azimio chants rented in the air, residents flooded and blocked roads.
Suleiman claims that as the next Mombasa county governor, he will bring economic change and development to his people. He urged residents to vote for Raila Odinga and support the Azimio Movement. Raila Odinga will rid the country of corruption. They should be wary of people who pretend to be righteous in order to gain votes.
Residents enthusiastically applauded Shahbal’s speech. Azimio’s chants rent the air. They claim they do not want to be associated with Deputy President William Rutledge.
