In today’s Coalition Agreement Signing, OKA Principals say “no handshake, no handshake.”

Parties aligned to the One Kenya Alliance (OKA), led by Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper Party, Hon Gideon Moi’s KANU, and Martha Karua’s Narc Kenya, are currently signing a coalition agreement in Nairobi.

At the opening of the meeting, MC requested that all of the parties’ Secretary Generals shake hands with OKA Principals. This, however, backfired when OKA Principals and SGs refused to shake hands.
They said that because of the corona virus, they were not allowed to shake hands in order to be role models for Kenyans by fighting the fatal virus on the front lines.
They were then instructed to simply wave. They will most likely recite the agreement they have struck and say whether they will move to August general as OKA or join either Azimio la umoja or Kenya Kwanza.

Hon Moses Kuria, a member of Parliament from Gatundu South, who had previously stated that he would not walk with OKA if they were going to the Azimio team, was not present at the meeting.
