Tomorrow, as ODM presidential candidate Raila Odinga prepares to enter a key battleground district, a political tsunami is expected.
With the 2022 presidential election on the line, the race to form the next government in August is gaining steam, with political heavyweights continuing to publicize their state house bids.
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is one of the frontrunners to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta. He has recently increased his political activities, crisscrossing the country to popularize his presidential bid.
And, following a successful visit to Wajir County, Raila Odinga is anticipated to land in Meru County, part of the bigger Mount Kenya East region, where a major political tsunami is expected.
This visit comes after the former Prime Minister welcomed Meru County Governor, Hon. Kiraitu Murungi, and a slew of other leaders from Meru and Embu counties to the Azimio la Umoja movement, which was seen as a timely boost to the camp’s effort to reach the vote-rich Mt. Kenya area.
