Several Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leaders who lied to Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi’s party Pamoja African Alliance (PAA) were conspicuously absent from the Former Prime Minister’s Rally in Kilifi county today.
In a formal statement issued yesterday, Kingi stated that they would skip the gathering, citing it as an ODM party affair rather than an Azimio La Umoja function.
Hassan Joho, Ledama Ole Kina, Kanini Kega, Abdulswamad Nassir, Getrude Mbeyu, Junet Mohammed, Stanley Muthama, Stewart Madzayo, and Teddy Mwambire are among those accompanying the ODM leader at Bamba Sokoni Grounds. Ganze, Bemba, Kaloleni, Mariakani, and Rabai are among the places the former Prime Minister is expected to visit.
Raila is slated to resume his coastal tour on Sunday, when he visits Mombasa county with numerous handshake leaders. The Azimio La Umoja squad is scheduled to arrive in Kwale County on Monday.
