Former Kiambu County Governor Hon William Kabogo has also stated that in the approaching 2022 national election, he will follow and stick to what the inhabitants of Kiambu desire.
According to a story published on Wednesday by the Standard Media Group, Mt Kenya Ally has acknowledged that he has chosen to go back to the drawing board and devise an extensive plan to ensure that he wins the presidential race in 2027. He admitted that the impending presidential election in 2022 is now obvious and apparent as a two-horse race.
In terms of his existing strategy, Governor Kabogo has bowed to public pressure and will now run for governor. Tujibebe Wakenya Party, founded by the former governor, is his own political vehicle. In 2017, Waititu teamed together with Nyoro and John Mugwe, the current head of the Kiambu delivery unit, to depose Kabogo.
When asked who he would support between Raila and Ruto, the Mt Kenya Governor has hinted that he supports Ruto, noting that he feels safer in Musalia Mudavadi’s hands than in the hands of any other leader.
